Your Visit

At Bradford Animal Hospital, we treat your pets like the valued family members they are.

Welcome to our pet family!

Bradford Animal Hospital is a full-service animal hospital. We are equipped and able to provide care for almost any need necessary, from the most basic routine puppy/kitten visits, to itchy skin and ears that just never seem to improve, to aching teeth that need dental procedures, all the way through to specialty surgeries and critical medicine cases that may require ultrasound imaging.

Our full-time staff and traveling specialists have years of veterinary experience across multiple specialties. Beyond first rate pet care, we strive to make our hospital a comfortable and calm atmosphere, allowing you and your pet to relax prior to their exam.

We are happy to offer a number of resources that enable you to learn about how to take better care of your pets. Please feel free to browse our website, particularly the informational articles. The best veterinary care for animals focuses on preventative medicine -- putting in the time and care early on, before diseases and conditions progress and worsen.

If you have any questions, or would like to schedule an appointment, call (978) 373-6460.

What To Expect

We recommend that every dog and cat has a yearly ("annual") exam. This will allow the veterinarian to give them a full physical examination, update any recommended/required vaccinations, and conduct any diagnostics that you
may elect to do. Typically most pets will be recommended to have a fecal test yearly to screen for parasites, as well as a yearly snap4dx test (lyme, heartworm, anaplasma, ehrlichia).

We strongly encourage that your medical history on your pet be emailed to us prior to your pet's appointment. If you are unable to email us the records, or have them faxed over to us, then we would like you to come for your pet's appointment 10 minutes early. Having the records early will allow the technician and doctor to thoroughly assess them and input the information for your chart. We also recommend that you bring a fecal sample with you.

Cancellation Policy:
As we are a relatively small clinic with a large clientele that we try to provide for with the most available care possible, "last-minute cancelations" and "no-shows" have a large negative impact on not solely the business, but also on other people's pets that were very sick and that we were unable to schedule for that missed exam slot. Because of this, we have had to enact a moderately strict cancellation policy.
We also completely understand that life events happen, we just ask for at least 24 hours notice prior to canceling so there is still a chance at letting another client have that exam slot.
     For New Clients
For all of our new clients we ask to get a verbal confirmation the day of your appointment. If you need to cancel your appointment, we do ask to let us know 24 hours in advance, this can be done by calling or emailing us.  If a cancellation occurs with less than 24 hours notice, or you do not show up for your appointment, your deposit will nonrefundable, and you will need to prepay in advance for your next rescheduled appointment.  If you need to reschedule same day appointment, you will need to prepay for appointment.
     For Existing Clients
Any existing client that cancels or no-shows within 24 hours of their scheduled exam will be given a one-time exemption.  There will be no charge for this first time late cancellation.  However, if it occurs a 2nd time there will be a cancellation fee of $35, and the next rescheduled exam will need to be prepaid nonrefundible ahead of time.  This is for examinations only. If this occurs for veterinary technician appointments there will be cancellation fee of $25.

Surgery Cancellation Policy
We ask that clients kindly give as much notice as possible when needing to reschedule or cancel a surgery appointment. Any client that cancels with less than 48 hours notice or "no-shows" will be subject to a cost of $150. If the owner wants to reschedule the surgery they will need to leave a deposit of $250 which is non-refundable.

Payment Options

We accept debit cards, credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, CareCredit) and cash. All cards must be signed by the owner of the card.
